3M Filter Adaptor for CPAP (or other uses)

I'm a CPAP user and sometimes have allergy to pollen and needed a good filter. So I designed an adapter to take 3M filters and cartridges and a hose adaptor that allows me to use a spare CPAP hose to connects to my Resmed Airsense 10 inlet. 

This can be used for CPAP or any other situation where you need to connect 3M filters to a device.

It has standard 3M filter bayonet connectors on each side so can take any 3m cartridges or filters. I'm just using 3M N95 filters (actually the Australian equivalent p2/p3) for pollen and mold spore protection. I see many people on forums struggle with wildfire smoke and CPAP, using activated charcoal cartridges would solve that. I have fairly low pressures (8cmh2o) and there is very little resistance through the filters and I change the filters regularly to make sure there is always good airflow.

You can buy shorter CPAP tube from aliexpress/amazon to connect the filter adaptor to your machine. I've included the Resmed 10 inlet adaptor in the model but DM me if you need help making an adaptor for other makes and models. 

The model is split in two halves for optimal print quality of the connectors. The two halves need gluing together to complete the adaptor. CA/Superglue works well but make sure you flush with water to neutralize any residue before using it.

Note: use at you own risk! CPAP is a medical device and while I have had no problems using this setup, you should make your own decision on whether its safe for you.
