Description
Mount that can be used with the Bambu N20 Reduction Gear Motor. You can attach the motor to the mount on the front face using the small screws supplied with the motor. The mount then has a connection to a couple of fingers that allow you to slide the motor in/out in the direction of the shaft so you can adjust and tune the engagement with the rest of your model.
Two Option (See print profiles):
- Option 1: Heatset Inserts (M3)
- This is my preference, but mostly just because I like using the inserts and they feel more robust to attach something like a motor.
- Install the heatset inserts to the side of the main mount, and to the top of each finger.
- Designs for M3 inserts / screws.
- Option 2: M3 Screws
- Same idea as option 1, except it just has holes you can thread M3 screws into without inserts.
BOM (From Bambu Maker Supply):
- N20 Reduction Motor (LA002 - LA004)
- 4x M3x6mm screws (fingers to housing)
- 2x M3x[?] screws (front of fingers to your model, length depends on thickness of the wall you are attaching to)
- 6x M3 washers
- (Optional) 6x M3 heatset inserts (AB012)
