8mm Stainless Steel Balls (10PCS) - FA005

Description

This marble machine shows the functionality of ATP synthase, which sits in the mitochondrial membrane. I used 8mm steel balls to represent proton flow across the membrane through the ATP synthase. The movement of ADP and P on the bottom barrel represent the combining of adenosine diphosphate and phosphate into adenosine triphosphate using the energy of the proton gradient. Spin COUNTERCLOCKWISE!
