Folding Ruler and Protractor Combo
Print Profile(1)

Description
A print-in-place folding ruler!
It's nice having a full-sized ruler for measuring or as a straight edge, but sometimes they can be a bit annoying to pack. This ruler folds in half, reducing the form factor and allowing for further functionality. The ruler's main edge has either metric or imperial units, with a small section in the back of the ruler featuring the opposing unit. The folding functionality of the ruler can also be used as a protractor, with 30-degree increments.
I recommend printing with a lower layer height to make the letter more visible and also advise that you have your printer run the brief calibration before printing just to make sure the tolerances are good. To remove the little bits of support material I recommend using a knife and some pliers. If the ruler doesn't want to close all the way, make sure you've removed all the support material at the ends.
I hope the design serves you well. Please comment if you have any problems or ideas for future models, I'd love to lend my skills to help!
