Description

This model is a remix based on thePocket Copter from agepbiz - MakerWorld. Additionally, the flyer from thePlanetary Wheel Copter from 会跑的泡泡 - MakerWorldwas adapted and scaled appropriately for better flight performance

Regarding thePocket Copter from agepbiz - MakerWorld, I modified the boat model, gear, and handle. The modifications are as follows

  • Increased the length of the main body's handle and the height of the flyer from the hand to prevent hand injury and provide a more comfortable user experience (However, this will also result in longer print time and some additional filament)
  • Increased the tolerance for the bottom thread to avoid the high printer precision requirements of the original (If it still cannot be screwed in, it is recommended to test the filament sinkage rate and hole compensationHole Compensation Calibration & Filament Sinkage Rate from aurora - MakerWorld)
  • While modifying the original model, I inadvertently damaged the original logo, so I simply changed it to "May you fly higher". The rendered model is as follows

  • Additionally, I adapted other flyers. In the future, I will adapt other flyers and gyro toys

Printing Notes: For the original author's flyer, the Arachne wall generator must be enabled, otherwise, it may result in poor printing quality. I had no issues printing with a 0.2 layer height, but the original author recommends a 0.15 layer height, please choose for yourself. Currently, I have left ample tolerance for the bottom thread. If you still cannot assemble it correctly, please first check for filament sinkage rate issues.
