Description
Introduction
The gearbox model has 4 gears. (1:3, 1:1, 3:1, 1:0.48 (reverse gear)).
It uses two power input methods: LA001 TT reduction motor or hand crank.
The model has been optimized and theoretically can run without lubrication.
Printing
Print Plate 7 for the motor mount and Plate 8 for the crank, print one or the other.
Use PETG material for the main body, and any material for decorative parts.
It is recommended to use multiple colors of PETG for printing, which will make the demonstration effect better.
The gear clearance of the model is 0.1. It is recommended to print the “Gearbox Gear Clearance Test” model before printing to test and adjust the gear clearance according to the test results.
Installation
When installing, pay attention to the installation direction, the keyway of the gear has a directional slope, and the top surface of the part is the direction of the key insertion.
There are two types of shims: step shims and shims. Install according to the video or diagram.
If the precision is poor, there will be a lot of friction during assembly, which may cause the motor to fail to drive. WD40 needs to be used for lubrication.
