Floor Vent Glove Drying Rack - The "Gloven"

11/18/2023 Update: Major revision to introduce a redesigned interface to lock the two halves of the baseplates togethers. Much simpler to print, much more aestetically pleasing when fully assembled. All model files and profiles have been updated. Also introducing two new parts! 1.) an extension piece to lengthen the baseplates to accomodate longer vent covers, and 2.) a taller tube option for larger boots and gloves, this also introduces a teardrop shape to the holes to allow for faster printing at larger layer heights. Introducing The "Gloven", an oven for your gloves! Dry the family gloves after a fun day in the snow using the heat from your floor vents! The rack accommodates 2 pairs of gloves (4 gloves total) and sits directly over the floor heat vent. Warm air is channeled directly into the gloves, drying them from the inside. This will allow you or your little ones to quickly get back out in the snow with warm hands!

The rack prints in 6 separate pieces (2 halves of the base plate, and 4 posts), allowing for compact storage. Assembly is quick and easy with each of the drying posts screwing into the base plate, and the two baseplates interlocking with simple tabs. Assembly takes <2 minutes from start to finish.

I have typically printed these using PETG material, due to the higher melting point.
