Gridfinity TPU Hex-Grid Bins

These Gridfinity bins can hold anything! With a TPU insert, these are designed such that longer objects like pens, scissors, pliers, tweezers or anything else can wedge into the bin in a secure manner without having to use a bin explicitly designed for that object.

There's a variety of grid-cell-sizes and bin dimensions available. The hex cells get slightly tighter towards the bottom, so everything stays put securely. You'll be surprised how much stuff these can hold.

Instructions

Choose your desired bin dimensions and hex grid size (10mm provides the most variety. Remember, they get tighter towards the bottom, so even smaller stuff will hold very well, and the TPU can flex to allow larger things to stick in as well). Then, print the desired hex-insert in TPU, as well as the corresponding bin out of whatever you want.

Once both are done, just push the insert into the bin. It takes a slight bit of force, so just squeeze the insert a bit to make it fit through the top lip.
