Description

I designed and built this spoon holder for my children's yoghurt/muesli cups

In my case, I used 300ml Mepal cups.

The holder is sturdy and can be removed from the cup. Both the spoon holder itself and the holding ring on the cup.

Material

  • The holding ring on the cup is made of TPU and is therefore elastic.
  • The spoon holder itself can be made from PLA/PETG.
  • The spoon holder has a TPU fastening strap.

Cleaning

Because the holder can be removed and opened wide with the TPU fastener, it is also easy to clean. But please do not in the dishwascher!

Assembling

  • The two housing parts made of PLA/PETG do not require any support material. They must be glued together. I used a 2k epoxy resin adhesive. Superglue might also work.
  • The TPU fastening strap is glued to the lower part of the housing with e.g. superglue/cyanoacrylate.
