Long Story Short really junky shelf brackets at the hardware store are overpriced, pretty much useless and I am a cheap. I printed a bunch of these in the cheapest PETG I had (I think was (12,99). They worked out to $1.67 CAD each.

This is about $200 cheaper than going to the hardware store for the 12 brackets I made, however I only got shelf brackets and no new tools this way, still pleased about it though.

The shelf is printed in two halves with 4 connector pins. I recommend using a good glue in the slots like E600 or JB Weld (not CA like crazy/super glue is weakens the plastic). I glues some and didn't glue others, both worked but the glued ones just hide there seam better once screwed to the wall. I used 5 x ¾ wood screws for mounting the shelf, and 5 x 1 ½ for mounting to the studs. The shelves pictured are 65 x x12 x 3/4' MDF.

Printed in:

Generic Black PLA

Generic Black PETG

(I started in PETG but ran out and used PLA for the rest, for future either is fine I think)

Hope you like my models, if you do please leave a rating and check my profile here: https://makerworld.com/en/@phillipjfry

Maybe buy me a coffee, I go through lots of it, thanks.

Have a great day and happy printing!!!
