VLA Radio Telescope (1:100 Scale Model)

This is a 1:100 scale model of the radio telescopes that comprise the Very Large Array radio telescope array in New Mexico, USA.

Some pieces are strongly advised to be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle (they are labeled)

I have included 3mf files that include all the correct pieces and have the nuanced settings and supports where they are necessary

The raw STL files have also been included.

An 8mm x 22mm x 7mm bearing can be used to allow the telescope to rotate. Ensure you use the BaseDBearing and BaseE pieces if you are incorporating the bearing.

This model is designed to be easily constructed with CA glue. I also used model filler to fill in the seams of the dish.
