Description
*UPDATE* A new profile with a better surface texture and reinforcement has been added.
Top your christmas tree with style with this Super Mario Xmas tree topper. The model comes with a slot to slot in a Xmas tree LED to light it up though may not be effective depending on your choice of filament. Please read the following considerations when printing with my profile.
The tree topper coil prints like a solid blob with my pre loaded support settings. The coil is actually flexible and supports can be released by gently bending the coil and pulling off the support with pliers. Glue is highly recommended when printing the star. The eyes are pressure fit and do not require glue as long as your printer is well calibrated. Needle nose pliers are the only tool needed for this model. Assemble by threading the coil into the bottom of the star.
*UPDATE as of NOV 24 - Supports have been removed completely from the coil component.
I don't own an Xmas tree but I tested the coil on an Elf tree. If the coil is too short add a little bit of heat via blow dryer or hot water while attacked to the star and stretch out the coil. If you find this is insufficient feel free to PM me a length of coil you need and I'll see what I can do.
