Automatic Rope Lock/Tensioner

DISCLAIMER: In my testing I haven't been able to get it to reliably work with paracord yet! Every other rope I tested works great, paracord just seems to slip under load at some point. Please be aware.

Directional Locking Mechanism: Securely locks in one direction and releases quickly in the other. You can also push down on the quick release lever.

Sizes: Available in different versions to accommodate various rope diameters. The smallest gap between the gear and body is typically 1mm smaller than the rope diameter to make sure it catches the gear. Feel free to experiment with different sizes to achieve the desired result, as different ropes may behave differently. Mixing parts between versions or sizes may result in improper fit.

Printing: Three easy prints, designed to require no supports.

Installation: Insert the gear so that the lever faces the attachment point (refer to the last picture for guidance) when everything is screwed together. Test the mechanism without a rope first to ensure correct orientation. Use the small triangle on the gear to remember how to place it.
