Description

I know there are a lot of nice bag clips here already, but I wasn't entirely happy with any of them, so I added another design. There are 6 sizes for clamping lengths of 55 mm, 65 mm, 75 mm, 90 mm, 120 mm and 150 mm.

My design goals were:

  • stability,
  • longevity,
  • high holding power,
  • easy operation,
  • no notoriously weak hinges,
  • easy printing,
  • and last but not least a pleasant appearance.

How to use:

As a rule, it is enough to bend the clip on the closure by a maximum of 1 cm in order to slide a bag between them or to remove a bag. It is not intended to bend the clip to larger angles. Bending too hard can cause the clip to break.

To open a locked clip, please use one of the two methods shown here:

Print settings:

A flexible material must be used, such as PETG. I haven't even tried printing clips with PLA since I don't think they will work for long (PLA permanently deforms under tension).
