Description

A silly little project. Presenting, the tensegrity tissue box - a possible conversation starter. Simply hold the tissue box to pass it around.

A challenging print: wash your build plate thoroughly, and ensure cooling settings are dialed in (up to 20° overhangs)

Required: Glue, <1mm string / thread, and lots of patience.

  1. Following indent, glue curved rib to tissue box.
  2. Attach string 1, ~3cm between holes. Recommended to double/triple up if using thread.
  3. Attach string 2, forms a V-shape from the front. Try to get in between 12-15cm between the holes
  4. Attach string 3, Pulled as tight as required for tension; ~4cm.
  5. Attach string 4, Pulled as tight as needed to balance out string 3. Length should be == string 3

Functions as a simple rectangular tissue box with feet nubs as well, if its too much hassle to balance.
