Description

I tried various bumpers on the net but I was not satisfied with any design because I was afraid that in flight they could come off or compromise the flight dynamics

I designed this bumper so that it fits onto the DJI MINI frame thanks also to the elastic characteristics (useful for insertion) of PETG, but it is also possible to print it in PLA ABS , its design adapts perfectly because its shape is elastic enough to be inserted into the frame.

TPU not fit correctly

The right and left sides are the same so I only inserted the design of one side, print it twice and it will be installed on both the right and left

Then I also created the version with landing skids that allows the drone to rest on the skids integrated into the bumper during landing

I did the in-flight checks and both the bumper and the model with the landing skids do not compromise the flight dynamics

Now you can have fun printing it with bright or phosphorescent colors so maybe you can see the drone better when it flies high, because sometimes I hear it, I see it in the remote control, but I can't find it by sight

I set the template as a remix of a template I saw online, because the template inspired me even though I designed everything from scratch without using the inspiration template
