1.Keyless shaft version V2.0 optimization: ①The new version mitigates slight sticking issues upon keypress ②Optimized cat head design. The original cat head required supports, which some users found difficult to remove. The V2.0 version prints without support, resolving this issue perfectly

2.Two new cat expressions added to the keyless shaft version. These are included in the configuration file "Cat Head with Various Expressions, Including Keyless Shaft Versions". All cat expressions are available within (printing requires support; the optimized V2.0 version has been updated and uploaded)

An adorably shaped stress-relieving key toy

Version One:

This cat features an integrated, printable spring mechanism. With just a 3D printer, you can create this adorable stress-relieving cat without needing to purchase any additional parts.

PETG or PLA filament is recommended. Secure the cat's paws to the cup using glue; multi-color printing is not necessary

Version Two:

We also offer a version compatible with mechanical keyboard shafts. Installing a mechanical keyboard shaft provides a satisfying tactile feel and click sound

1.Mechanical keyboard shafts must be purchased separately. Tactile and linear switches both offer excellent sound effects (though linear and tactile switches work well, too). I personally enjoy both; choose according to your preference. For a crisp, clear sound, choose clicky tactile switches; for a more subdued sound, consider linear switches. You can easily find affordable options on Taobao or Pinduoduo.

2.Both standard cross-shaped shafts and those with dust guards can be installed smoothly

(If the keyboard shaft is too tight or loose, adjust the XY hole compensation in your slicer to suit your shaft)

Version Three: (Keyboard Shaft + Separable Base)

For enhanced playability, consider our keyboard shaft + magnet version. This version features a detachable cup base secured by two Φ7*1.5 magnets. You can print different colored bases for easy removal and replacement

(If your magnets won't fit, increase the X-Y hole compensation by 0.1 in your slicer; if they're too loose, decrease the X-Y hole compensation by 0.1. Negative values are acceptable; alternatively, use glue for securement)

If you lack an AMS multi-color printer or prefer faster printing, you can print the cat's head in a single color and paint the eyes and mouth with black acrylic paint (acrylic markers work too)

Those with an AMS can download the multicolor version for printing

Printing Notes:

1.Variable layer height is already configured for optimal print quality. It's advisable to use the pre-set parameters. Use low layer height for the top of the cat's head to avoid noticeable layer lines

2.Adjust XY and outer wall compensation in your slicer for optimal fit (material type and flow rate influence the final print size. A single configuration cannot accommodate all materials and print parameters; please adjust compensation settings accordingly)

3.For keyless cat heads, base support is required. Use standard auto-supports (V2.0 and later do not require support; this note can be ignored)

4.Supports are optional for cups, but improve print quality; tree supports are recommended (easily removed with wire cutters; omit supports if removal proves difficult)

5.Pay attention to paw orientation during assembly: the concave side fits into the cup's edge, with the flat side facing the cat (incorrect placement causes jamming)

Regarding feedback on individual cup base prints exhibiting poor quality, repeated testing identified this effective solution:

Print Parameter Modification Steps:

1.Select the base to print. In the object process settings, modify the layer height to 0.2

2.Select the model and click on the variable layer height at the top; then select "Reset" (if problems persist after layer height adjustments, modify this setting again)

The current download includes updated print settings, modifiable using the steps above, or download the new print files
