Mini Downfire-Subwoofer

Description
Here is the subwoofer for my Mini 360° Speaker
(found at https://makerworld.com/cs/models/51035#profileId-52923)
The subwoofer is designed for a 13cm bass speaker. I used a Fenton 5.25" HiFi woofer.
The radiation is downwards (Downfire principle).
The small box has a lot of punch (it is not a PA speaker, of course).
To drive it, I use a 2.1 amplifier (you can get it as a finished board for 30 euros, with housing it is at least twice as expensive).
The subwoofer is ideal for my Mini 360° Speaker, but also works with other speakers, for example for PC speakers.
Besides the 3D-printed parts, you need a 13cm bass speaker + cable, an amplifier and a weight!
Since the bass is quite strong and 3D prints are quite light, the part would otherwise jump around the room.
That's why I installed an old 2kg weight plate. You can also use other things, stones, metal scraps, etc. The main thing is that it's heavy.
The 360° speakers are more than enough for a small room, but they have little bass.
With this Downfire subwoofer you get really big sound for small rooms.
In relation to price and size, this is a great box.
To make it not such a monochrome block, I installed a silver strip all around, matching the tweeter.
Of course, it can also be done in one color, as you wish.
You can also leave out the lid, it is only necessary for the weight. Without weight the bass speaker jumps.
You have to weigh the part down somehow!
That's why I installed a 2kg weight plate and printed the lid over it :-)
Attach the speaker from INSIDE, so ON the plate. Not from the outside, otherwise it will only hang on the screws at the bottom.
The spacers are hollow inside. With 3mm screws, the base plate can be screwed to the housing through the spacers.

like more sound?
If I get some boosts, I will do some other designs :-)
