Description

Towel holder with foldable design and seashell faceplate.
Available on my website at: cor310.com/store/p/seashell

Small size is for hand towels, whereas the original is designed to hold a bath towel.
The small is around 40mm (1.57") tall and the large size is 81mm (3.14") tall.

MOUNTING HARDWARE:

I used #8x1-¼" screws and plastic drywall anchors that came in this kit:
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Self-Drilling-Threaded-Self-Tapping-Mounting/dp/B086ZK7RBF/

INSTALLATION:

Before assembling, use a stud-finder to check if you will be mounting to drywall.
Align the bracket piece on the wall with the screw holes facing out and the pin hole at the bottom.
Mark the holes, insert drywall anchors if needed, then assemble the parts and secure both screws.

To assemble, place the bracket into the shell with the notch facing up, then push the hinge pin through.

PRINTING DETAILS:

This was designed and tested for printing with a 0.2mm nozzle at 0.1mm layer height.
The larger seashell will probably print fine with a 0.4mm nozzle at a 0.2mm layer height.

The supports included on the .3mf file are sufficient and remove easily.
If using the .stl, be sure to enable supports or the inner roof will bow.

The smaller shell is printed at an angle to reduce the chance of bed adhesion issues.
Feel free to adjust if you like, but re-sizing will change the screw holes.

Each part was printed on it's own plate in order to reduce stringing.
