Updated on October 16th: The current configuration includes two parts. One is a round-faced version for easy printing without supports, and the other is the original image version, which requires supports and should be printed with a 0.08 layer height or a 0.2 nozzle. So, please be careful when downloading and do not ask if it can be printed or if the results will be the same. Please also do not file any complaints. Sharing models should be a happy experience, let’s not make everyone unhappy! Thank you. I printed the original version using jayo’s skin-tone PLA+ and then colored it with an electroplating pen (shining gold). I used a 0.2 stainless steel nozzle. Printing four models took over 48 hours. If you don’t have this determination, then accept the reality of the layered texture. After all, it’s FDM, not SLA. Don’t complain to me because of this, thank you all.

Some friends have pointed out that it’s not easy to operate on a phone. So, I combined the four models into one, dividing them into colored and uncolored versions. Please choose carefully. Each configuration has added an uncolored version. I have tested it and found that using an electroplating marker pen from Pinduoduo can perfectly reproduce the multi-color effect. The pen brand is Chrome Pen. There are several kinds of gold in multi-color versions. Choose according to your needs. This perfectly solves the time-consuming and laborious issue of multi-color printing, let's celebrate!

This series has been completed and I will upload them all together. Because I am learning how to color models, I have done several groups of character portrait coloring, and I suddenly found that they are so beautiful! Because the prototype is an SLA model, I adjusted it so that it can be printed on a Bambu Lab without supports (the face is a little chubby, and some supports are eliminated), the protruding details are reduced to minimize overhang, and the final finished product looks about 90% like the SLA model. For the sake of beauty, for the sake of beauty, my image is of the SLA model. The final product only has slightly less layering in the face than the image, so don't mind it… I don't know what color resin the SLA model uses. I found a similar skin-tone PLA+ and it hasn't arrived yet. I used Bambu Lab’s Jade PLA+ and Silk Gold PLA+ for multi-color printing. The color of the silk must be the golden color on the image. The effect is best this way. The model has been adjusted to be printed without supports. I have scaled it down because multi-color printing takes too long. I recommend printing at 125-150%, but it will take a long time. The effect is the best. The recommended layer height is 0.16. 0.08 is similar to SLA, but there are still limitations.

Multi-color models really waste a lot more time than single-color models. Also, the waste materials from the multi-color printing are all official ones. If you have any cheap ones, please recommend them. It’s heartbreaking!. A friend also suggested buying metallic-textured coloring pens on Pinduoduo. They are on their way. When I get them I will try them out and tell you all! It's not easy to create, please like, comment and share!
