Description

Some simple stencils for bleach dying your halloween duds. One of many overviews of the process can be found here.

A few things I learned:

  • I used support filament since these were throw away, but they were so thready that I would use regular PLA next time.
  • You may want to up the thickness of these if you want to reuse them as they do curl after a few uses.
  • Cotton and poly shirts both worked fine.
  • Get a new jug of bleach. The old stuff was cloudy and didnt work as well.
  • I skipped a peroxide “deactivator” that some instructions talk about. I just put everything into the washer about an hour after bleaching spraying.

Have fun!
