Description

Cyclone Dust Collector

This cyclone dust collector is designed to be used with home vacuum or shop vacuum cleaners. It's very efficient and will remove most particles before entering the vacuum cleaner, thus it's very useful for woodworking and other drilling/milling operations.

How to use

You need a big, airtight container for collecting dust. An old paint bucket works well, I use a plastic barrel here. The cyclone consists of 3 sections, the lower section is added to improve filtering efficiency. You can choose between option A (lower section sitting inside the container lid) and option B (all 3 sections sitting above the container lid).

When using it the vertical port is the outlet (connect to vacuum cleaner), and the horizontal port is the dust collector port. Port sizes are 63.5mm (2.5 inch). You can easily add connectors to fit your system.

Screws and nuts

Requires 8x M6x30 screws and nuts, and 8x M3x12 screws and nuts. Option B requires an additional 8x M6x20 screws and nuts.
