Single-Handle Version Song Dynasty Style Storage Box/Gift Box/Toolbox

This model's design is inspired by traditional Chinese storage boxes, featuring a Song Dynasty style aesthetic, a pleasing appearance, and rich functional uses. It uses red, black, and gold colors to achieve a beautiful ancient Chinese visual effect. It can be applied in various scenarios. It is perfect as a gift box, for instance, for mooncakes or pastries. It also serves as a storage box for office stationery or workshop tools. It can even be a fashion accessory you carry out, used as a stylish bag for cosmetics

Model design instructions are as follows:

1. The model structure is very simple. Structurally, this gift box is divided into three layers, each consisting of an outer box and an inner box nested together, easily assembled after separate printing.
2. The inner box allows for free addition of dividers to achieve richer storage compartmentalization.
3. Designed with both a solid outer box and a hollowed-out outer box (requires pairing with different inner box models). The hollowed-out outer box is very beautiful but takes a long time to print. If you don't want to spend too much time, you can choose the solid outer box.
4. This model requires no supports for printing. However, because the model's surface area is relatively long and narrow, it is recommended to use glue on the build plate for stability to prevent warping or print failure.
5. It is recommended to print the frame and inner layers using black PLA Matte filament to achieve a delicate surface texture. The outer box can be printed with red PLA.
6. To achieve a more beautiful traditional Chinese design effect, we used four 10mm post-length pure copper textured I-screws or Chicago screws for assembly. The assembly process for the entire box is approximately as follows: (watch the video above)

1: Use Chicago screws to fix the first layer and the frame

2: Use Chicago screws to secure the handle

3: Install the inner box of the first layer

4: Nest the inner box into the second outer box. The boxes are designed with buckles for reinforcement. During installation, alternately press the four corners of the inner box to embed it into the outer box until it is fully seated. To achieve a more aesthetic outer box, a hollowed-out version was specifically designed, which requires using a separate inner box without buckles for installation.
