J4125 Soft Router NAS
Print Profile(1)

Description
My previously acquired J4125 mini-PC router has been gathering dust, and having heard of fnOS’s popularity, I decided to repurpose it as a five-bay NAS (the device has one built-in SATA port, plus a four-SATA adapter), supporting only 2.5-inch hard drives.
Boost Me (for free)
With increased support, I will consider creating a version compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives.
2024-12-03:
----Adjusted overall height for compatibility with mini PCIe to 4 SATA direct insertion height
----Modified rear fan cutout to a rhombus shape, resolving the overhang printing issue of the original circular design
----Modified front I/O cover to a top-pull design with ventilation cutouts for improved heat dissipation
----Added hard drive tray insertion stops
----Modified the triangular cutouts on the sides of the hard drive cage to a conical shape (this modification does not affect the functionality of existing prints)
Parts List: (The image details the M2*5 countersunk screws for the hard drive cage; slightly longer screws are acceptable)
---J4125 mini-PC router (images are highly detailed; purchase separately; this model is also available with an N5105 processor).
---12V 8010 fan with XH2.54 2-pin connector (sellers are familiar with this)
---mini PCIe to SFF8087 adapter card, shown in the image (note: some purchases do not include the SFF8087 to 4 SATA cable).
---Hard drive backplane (contact me on the online marketplace for this; the backplane includes screws, power cables, and four feet). Printing the hard drive tray with a transparent material will allow the hard drive indicator lights to shine through.
---Four 10mm feet for the bottom; select those thicker than 2mm
