Steiner

The Striker-01 Mecha is the first humanoid mecha in my line of fantasy mechs. It features 16 poseable joints, interchangeable parts (more parts coming soon), and snap-fit joints. It's easy to print, assemble, and have fun with!

My goal is to release a whole line of humanoid mechas alongside my other mechas, as well as accessory packs for extra interchangeable parts such as weapons, armor, limbs, and heads.

I also tested the model with a 0.2mm nozzle at 50% size and I'm incredibly impressed with the results!

After many tries, I've finally created a humanoid mecha that fits all of my design criteria for mechas:

  • No Supports Needed
  • Snap-Fit Joints (with PLA)
  • Joints are Poseable (and keep their poses)
  • Interchangeable Parts
  • Wide Range of Motion
  • Small Scale (palm sized)

The Striker-01 Mecha is the first of this series and I'd like to test and monitor the snap-fit ball joints more before releasing mroe. So far, the joints have been performing wonderfully for me and hold their shape well over time, so I just want to make sure that same experience is the same for other printers and I'll update the model accordingly with the feedback from you all, thanks!

As always, if you have any suggestions or ideas I'm very open to hear them! If you'd like to see more similar models, you can follow me here on MakerWorld as well as on Patreon (you can vote in my polls and see upcoming projects for free!)
