Description

Hey fellow leather workers,

if you're doing leather craft as a hobby or business and you do a lot of belts, i've got something for you!

I made some simple forms to help you make belt loops and give them a nice shape.

They are for belt/strap sizes from 10 to 50mm (3/8" to 2") and for varying leather thicknesses (2mm/5oz to 3.5mm/8oz). The thickness marked on the tool is the thickness of leather you are working with. The actual tool will be double the thickness (for 2mm strap you need a loop that fits 2x 2mm).

depending of how you work, i recommend to cut and sew a loop thats very very slightly too small, case it in water and push it over the tool to the intended width. Or you could cut it to the right size and case it in warm water and place it somewhere with indirekt heat. The leather will shrink a bit (i didnt try that yet)

Just print the ones you like or all of them. They fit all on one Plate.

IMPORTANT:

First of all: The imperial units are approximations! i needed to decide for one unit system and used the one, thats common here in Europe. Check the width of you're strap on the tool!!!

Second: If you dont use Bambu-Profile: Make sure to change wall generation to arachne and minimum wall with to 60% or else the marking will be not completly ok! The (") and (/) will probably not print correctly!

Third: if you dont have an ams or other method to Color Change, you will need to write the markings yourself.
