Boost Me (for free)
I'm just getting started with basic designs and would certainly appreciate a boost if you find what I'm putting out to be funny. I'm staying motivated just building Christmas decoration for myself but would be great to know others share the same humor! I hope to have dozens of fun and different designs out before the Holiday season for all to enjoy! Plus, I need more orange filament and I'm a few points short of the $40 Gift Certificate :)
There are two print profiles for this design
Original: Rounded square shape
REV 1: Is in a “bauble” shape. This shape seems to be more desirable to most people. (I added the hole to hang the ornament after printing, the profile will have a hole in it while my picture does not)
REV 2: Revised Bauble version. Removed border from hanger and doubled the thickness
If you're looking at this model you must be like me; someone that loves a funny Christmas movie. This ornament captures arguably the greatest line from any Christmas movie ever (well, maybe most quoted by an immature man-child like myself!)
My goal is to capture some of the best lines from all of my favorite Christmas movies in various formats leading up to the holidays. I couldn't think of a better one to start with and I plan to have a few variations of this all-time classic. Be on the lookout for plenty more from Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Elf, A Christmas Story, Friday After Next, The Grinch, and others (maybe Diehard, it's a Christmas movie right??)
I used Bambu filament for this print as I was certain on how many layers would be needed to keep the colors vibrant while keeping layers to a minimum. You could likely get away with other options, just be sure you are confident in only needing two layers of color.
