5.5" French Cleat Spacer for 0.75" plywood

Description
This model is designed to help install french cleats. The model is printed in PETG, but PLA should work fine. It is designed for 0.75" plywood french cleat installation, with a spacing of 5.5" between cleats. I designed this since I had a number of cleats to put up and needed to do it by myself. The spacers also act like a helping hand. You can put the spacer on a cleat you have installed, and it will sit there up against the wall. You then put a new cleat on top, and it will rest there against the wall while you fix it to the wall. The cleat spacer has a chamfer to allow it to be removed once the new cleat is fixed to the top, without needing to add extra space to the placement. I was able to use these to add cleats to small spaces, as well as to put 8' cleats into an 8'x8' section of wall – all solo, and with the cleats remaining level across the install.
For those interested in keeping the screws fast and consistent, I just uploaded my French Cleat Screw Hole placement jig. Feel free to give it a look! https://makerworld.com/en/models/932270
