Description

This Mini MagSafe Zyn Can is a compact, travel-friendly container designed for convenience and durability. Ideal for storing Zyn or similar nicotine pouches, it combines portability with the added benefit of MagSafe functionality, allowing you to magnetically attach it to any MagSafe-compatible surface.

UPDATED FEB 2, 2025: Based on user feedback, I have added an additional print profile for a non-MagSafe version of the Zyn Can. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts and suggestions — your feedback helps improve this design!

Features:

  • Size: The container measures 12.8mm (~0.5 inches) in height and 59mm (~2.3 inches) in diameter, making it small enough to fit well on the back of a phone, as well as easily into pockets or bags and allowing it to comfortably contain 7-8 pouches.
  • MagSafe Compatibility: Designed to work with a universal MagSafe ring adapter (1.2mm thick or less), which can be easily purchased from Amazon or AliExpress.
  • Files: The model includes the following files for 3D printing:

    • Mini MagSafe Zyn Can Base.stl
    • Mini MagSafe Zyn Can Lid.stl
    • Mini MagSafe Zyn Can Tray.stl

    For easier customization, the STEP versions of these files are also included in a zip file:

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Place the universal MagSafe ring adapter adhesive-side down into the base.
  2. Apply a small amount of super glue (or CA glue) to the underside of the tray.
  3. Mate the tray with the top side of the base, ensuring a secure bond.
  4. The lid is designed to align in any direction when closed but requires a specific orientation to open. Simply match the alignment indicators on the lid and tray for easy access.

Printing Guidelines:

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm
  • Infill: Grid at 15% (though this is flexible depending on your preferences)
  • Material: ABS is recommended for better durability and temperature resistance, but other materials will work as well.
