Description

2024-FEB-7: Lost track of my files a bit, but uploaded several I had in the mix over the last week… the V2 design is stronger and does not have the flanges on each end.

***

Iterated a bunch to get a minimal design that is still strong enough to do the job well. As shown here, sliced for 0.28 printing it uses just under 8g of filament with no supports.

Good for use with Milwaukee 48-32-9921, new tool cases. I designed it fit loosely enough to rotate easily between flat and vertical positions.

I tweaked the bit slot sizing a bunch to get just the right grip with my filament and bits.

I have working files where this is set for a 74.95mm wide body, 15mm height, with the bit slots sized at 6.5mm and showing ~6.3-6.4mm IRL as printed.

The 6x2mm magnet holes print automatically, whether or not you press fit magnets for a little more holding power is up to you! I got a touch of spaghetti in the magnet holes that I just ignored, but it could be cleaned or print tweaked (supports?) depending on your preference.
