Description

Watering Rose

This is a watering rose designed to attach to a standard watering can with a (conical) 24 to 26mm diameter spout.

The watering rose is printed flat, and to achieve the best water distribution, the front of the print needs to be softened in hot water for reshaping.

After immersing the print in hot (boiling) water for 15-30 seconds (for PETG), carefully inspect the print. By pushing from the center on the inside and rotating outward with a tool like the back of a screwdriver, you can shape the flat surface into a dome, ensuring a wide, even spread, like that of a traditional watering rose. If the print hardens before reaching the desired shape, repeat the process.

Disclaimer:

Exercise caution during the reshaping process. Water may leak through the holes during the hot water dip, and hot water can flow through the connection part of the print when turning it.
