Description

This is a belt buckle model that I created to replace a broken belt buckle I hade. I also took the opportunity to validate the design using an engineering analysis and sanity check. For the buckle design it ended up being basically a cantilever beam stress and deflection analysis. Hope this project is found to be useful as well as practical. 

 

Update : As pointed out if printed with PLA there may be some dewpoints that need to be removed prior to use.
