Description

Print your own Ultimate Fusion Power Generator!

A Tokamak device harnesses magnetic fields to generate controlled nuclear fusion energy. Fusion is often regarded as the ultimate energy source, similar to the way our sun produces power.

This model of the Tokamak was crafted from ground up, inspired by images from ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor). ITER is a significant international project dedicated to nuclear fusion research and engineering.

The purpose of this model isn’t to precisely replicate the technical details of a Tokamak device but to celebrate the elegance of engineering and architecture.

The model contains 4 plates. I designed it in 100% size, but scaled it down to 75% for print otherwise it uses more than 1kg filament. I also tried 40% scale and 60%. You can scale as you need.

The outer wall needs the most supports as I want to reserve the hollowed window structure. The trees are generally easy to be removed by a model plier and a knife. If you scale down to 40% or less, it might become more difficult to remove some of the trees.
