A Y-connector with three inlets without additional parts

This Y-connector for PTFE tubing features three inlets and one outlet.

• It is designed for PTFE tubing with the following dimensions:
  • Outer diameter 4mm 
  • Inner diameter 2.5mm
• No additional hardware is required. 
• The inlets and outlet are fitted with internal threads
• UPDATE V2 print profile with blue Y-connector: 
  • larger diameter at the outlet for increased stability.
  • Increased infill at the outlet.
  • 4 walls 
  • Tree support enabled

Printing:

• Tree supports in PLA are recommended
• Print the Y-connector in PETG
• Print upright on the outlet with brim
• IMPORTANT: Use a support material different from the connector material, otherwise removal may be difficult

Installation:

• Push filament through all three inlets several times to remove any residual material.
• Completely detach a PTFE tube from your AMS Lite and extruder, cut it or use an additional short piece of tubing.

• Carefully,

  then firmly,

  rotate

  • the short tube into the single outlet.
  • the long tube into one of the three inlets.
• The other two inlets can be left open for direct filament insertion or additional tubes can be screwed in.
• Finally, reattach the tubes to the extruder and your AMS
