Description

DESCRIPTION FROM THE AUTHOR

Do not forget that when printing, you need to LIE FLAT and ON the PLATFORM. Use the highest resolution on your printer and scale the size as much as possible for the best results. I printed it using a Prusa i3 Einstein 3D printer.

St. Basil's Cathedral is a famous church in Moscow, Russia. Although I've never been there in person, I met her during a school project. Just looking at this majestic structure fascinates for a few seconds, because it is so bold and beautiful. The building has a very unique design in the shape of a bonfire flame. I thought it would be a creative application to participate in this competition, because the building is so outstanding, but not so famous, and when printed, it pushes the boundaries of modern 3D printing, creating something breathtaking. The model I uploaded is very detailed and reflects the essence of the cathedral, and I hope you will like it.

HOW DID I CHANGE THIS MODEL

-fixed a bug in the model when the column was hanging in the air. I added a porch and made a buttress support.

-Initially, the author's model did not have crosses on the domes and I modeled crosses in the amount of 9 pieces. After printing, they must be fixed on a good adhesive to the model of the Cathedral.
