Description

A simple cover for the Minelab metal detector pinpoint with one blade to help you showel.

I have made the blade just a slightly bigger compared to Minelab original to give it more force.

The open end is just the right size with a cut-out, making it a bit challenging to put onto the detector, but keeps it there. It never happened to me that it would slide down. In any case, the cut-out section contains a 4mm section for a zip tie to tie it even more, if it happens to you.

Both PLA and PETG are tested and works great. I, myself, am using PLA and did not have any issue. The bottom part has a sightly larger diameter, since this was the first place where it starts to wear on all models I've used so far

I noticed I left a “B” on the bottom, it's a negative part in the slicer, so feel free to remove it, or insert your own name / logo.

Until now, I was using model from lachimalaif, which is great, and I do recommend you to try it out (it's especially good in sand). However, due to four blades the dirt sticks to it, and it is hard to clean to continue searching, now (autumn) that the dirt is almost always wet.
