Retractable Cable Organizer - With Stop
Print Profile(5)

Description
New Model For Longer Cable (Up to 2 m)!

š„³ Retractable cable organizer is finally out! Several improvements have been added based on your requests for the previous version!š„³
- The biggest change is the addition of a ratcheting mechanism that prevents the cable from recoiling. With a simple push of a button, the cable can be quickly rewound.
- Both textile and rubber cable can be used. Maximum cable diameter is 4.5 mm! Maximum cable length is 1.2 m. Textile cables have lower friction and are therefore easier to wind.
- The model is designed for minimal supports. I recommend using my print profile! It is also set for the highest possible stiffness.
- Hinge Problem Solution Profile -Ā If the hinges didn't work on your original profile - a cover was created that has more clearance.Ā
šAssembly instruction
Place spring with button (Button_Spring). It is possible that the button spring will be harder to insert into the case, so I recommend using a hammer š (The reason for this is to avoid having to use glue and to prevent the button spring from falling out) If even a hammer doesn't help, you need to print the button spring with clearance. It can be found in the profile on the third plate.

Place ratchet - Try to insert the racthet all the way!

Place the cable evenly in the coil and place the coil into the Cover. On the bottom floor of the coil, hold the cable as shown in the gif below.

Turn the spool in the direction marked on the top surface! When the cable is fully wound. Keep pushing the cable down!

Place the spring on the hexagonal shaft. The spring hook must be rotated 180°-380° from the groove in the coil. So that the spring is preloaded!
