Update 10/05/2025:

Modified levers 1 & 3 to now have an additional alignment slot for easier assembly. Added in a "Lever Shim" for users having issues with the levers sometimes falling out of the switch plate.

Update 09/06/2025:

Uploaded new profile labeled v4! Reworked the handle and handle mount to address issues with strength while still provided better quality than v1 and v2. There is now a "support rod" that you should insert inside the handle and handle mount. It is printed in the opposite orientation of the handle so it should beef it up quite a bit. If you still experience issues with the handle breaking, try printing the v1 handle (Slight drop to quality and needs some support cleanup but much better strength).

Update 02/28/2025:

Uploaded new profile labeled v3! Slightly redesigned the handle to screw on the base/mount and reoriented the way the base/mount sits on the plate to increase the wall and layer strength. Increased number of walls and infill for the handle.

Update 12/06/2024:

Redesigned the leg holders to lock the lever upright more securely. Also added a chamfer to the "stopper" in the leg holder to allow for more travel of the lever. MUCH more secure now and shouldn't fall on it's own anymore :)

Added a fourth print profile that includes support for dimmer switches, specifically those that are the same/similar to the Lutron brand style switch (see pics)

UPDATE 11/05/2024:

Added a third print profile and updated existing profiles to include the new version. This new version adds an additional plate labeled v2 to current profiles. This was redesigned to remove the supports from the finished surfaces. Supports are also easier to remove on this version, but there is more user assembly required (still very easy, just recommend a bit of glue for the levers).

Hello fellow nerds!

A couple days ago I started searching to see if I could find the power switch from Zombies, but could not find it ANYWHERE. I found some amazing models that were very similar but none that were quite “the” switch. So, like any normal person would do, I shirked my duties at work, forgot to take the trash out and ate a pack of Oreos to design this. You're welcome.

In all seriousness though, this was a fun project and I loved being able to bring a big part of my childhood to life. Unfortunately, there is no additional coloring including with the files as getting the textures right would mean about 5 million color changes, 4 spools and 5 days of print time so I decided paint will have to do :)

There are absolutely ZERO non-printed parts required (aside from the light switch, but I am going on a limb and assuming you may already have one of those somewhere) and takes about 30 seconds to assemble!

This model absolutely requires supports. You may need to do a bit of ‘post-processing’ such as bits of cutting/shaving. I tried to keep the supports / extra work to a minimum but given the geometry, there is simply no good way to make this work/look good without them.
