Hibernation Pod for DUMMY 13
Print Profile(5)

Bill of Materials
Description
While not in use I wanted my Dummy 13 to be stored securely and dust-free - and at the same time I liked the idea of having it on display. So I made a design allowing for both at the same time.
Does a dummy need a hibernation pod? Maybe not, but he sure looks good in it...
Printing
For multicolor printing and convinience, 3MF files are provided. There are several modifiers present, deactivate or change them to get your desired outcome. The parts go together as depicted:

Pod sizes
with Dummy 13 standing tall
- current HC004 variant → up to 100% Dummy
Due to the fuzzy skin modifier you may need to deburr inner edges. - Especially with the single pillar variant, don't just force the acrylic tube through.
Wall mounts & other optional parts
The listed heat set inserts and screws are only optional for the wall mounts - I do like the adjustment it gives for the clamping force.
Currently not finished but in the making
- Holding arm inside to fix Dummy 13 in a “floating” position
- HC005 split up variant → up to 150% Dummy
- HC004 split up variant
- Complementary stands to hold the entire pod at an angle
Without MMU or AMS
With the provided 3MF the color changes are minimized (4+5) which is doable via manual filament changes.
What next
There may be improvements and modifications based on feedback given here.
Maybe, take a look at my other designs ;-)
