This time I'd like to introduce you to my good friend, whose name is "Cola." It's a cute teddy bear dog~ It's a good friend of mine in the real world. Six years ago, for some unknown reason, it was separated from its former owner and became a stray dog. My mother brought it back and spent half a month searching for its original owner, but there was no news. So, it's been in my house for six years.

If the original owner of the picture thinks it's inappropriate, please contact me and I will change the cover. Because I usually work away from home, "Cola" lives with my mother in my hometown. I couldn't find the pictures of it from before because I changed my phone. If you want to see it, my avatar is actually it.

I saw a lot of pictures and videos of dogs shared online, and I found that teddy bear dogs seem to like to sit like this.

So, I remembered that my "Cola" also likes to sit like this, haha. So I made this model.

Model:

Because "Cola" is coffee-colored, I chose brown PLA for printing. You can also choose other colors, such as white. It is recommended to use PLA or PLA frosted material for printing. Printing with PETG may not have a good texture.

I have uploaded two configurations in total, one ordinary configuration and one with a furry surface. I recommend that beginners use the ordinary configuration. Note: The model needs support. Otherwise, the overhanging surfaces of the chin and ears will not look good. There may be some residue after removing the support, it is recommended to use a water-gate pliers to remove the residue. If you have a heat gun, it is recommended to blow it with a heat gun for the problem of white support surface. If you don't have a heat gun, you can use a lighter to gently burn it, but pay attention to controlling the temperature.

The configuration with furry surface is recommended for friends with some printing experience, because removing the support after using the furry surface will be difficult and requires certain skills and experience. However, using the furry surface can better restore the texture of the teddy bear's "fleece."

It is recommended to use a black acrylic marker pen to color the dog's eyes.

Because dogs usually relax when they sit in this posture, they won't have the action of opening their mouths and sticking out their tongues. Teddy bears usually have long "whiskers." So there is no mouth position on the model. You can add a mouth to the dog at the position you think is suitable using a black soft-tip acrylic marker pen. I think it's better to not draw a mouth. Different shapes and positions of the mouth will give the puppy different looks and emotions. What your puppy looks like is up to you.

I am still a beginner in modeling software, and I am not familiar with many things. There are many things I need to learn, so I can only make some simple models. Recently, my "Wind-Blown Puppy" series was printed and sold on Taobao and Xiaohongshu by others, which made me feel a little frustrated. I have complained to both platforms, but there has been no response or effect. I contacted the seller, but they were evasive. My original intention in making these was to share my favorite things for free with people who have the same hobbies, hoping that people who see these models can convey a sense of happiness, rather than letting them become tools for speculators to profit from.
