P1 / X1 series - Glass door top and bottom seals

Model

This joint is designed to be “invisible” from the outside and compatible with every printer, even if the door isn't very straight (like mine).

Printing

Just use the provided print profile for TPU 95A HF, just be careful to print them one after the other to avoid TPU stringing.

Installation options

You have two ways to install this joint :

1 - Use 9mm wide, 1mm thick double sided tape like this one : Amazon link

Cut 40mm strips and put them on the slots on each seal.

2 - Use an hot glue gun

An alternative solution if you don't have double sided tape, but it can have an hard time staying in place if the chamber temperature gets too high.

You will only need to install it fast after you applied the hot glue, also be careful to not burn yourself !

Installation

Start by the edge of the door and make your way toward the right, make sure it remains straight !

Make sure to put them as close as possible to the right grey seal, to ensure it doesn't get in the way when opening and closing it.
