Tensegrity Model
Print Profile(1)

Description
"Tensegrity Model" is a theoretical model used to explain the structure and mechanical behavior of living organisms.
Tensegrity models are based on a special structural principle, namely maintaining the stability and integrity of the structure through the interaction of continuous tension and local compression elements. In this model, the stability of the structure does not only depend on pressure elements (such as bones), but also on the synergistic effect of tension elements (such as tendons and ligaments).
In understanding human body structure, tensegrity models provide a unique perspective on how the human body maintains its structural stability and flexibility through the interaction of different components such as bones, muscles, and ligaments.
This design features:
- Grooves and retaining rings designed at both ends of the structure for easy fixing of rubber bands.
- A base designed to fix the model, which is convenient for fixing the rubber band, avoiding the structure from bouncing off during the process.
- The main structure is printed horizontally, which increases the structural strength.
