Description

This vault uses 100% printed parts and adhesive/glue - no bearings or metal dowels. It can be printed on Prusa Mini (and larger printers) and the entire box prints without support - the only exception is the key but it prints well with organic supports.

In the video, I used the following filament:

  • Prusament PETG - Galaxy Black & Urban Grey
  • Hatchbox PETG - Bronze, Gold, Electric Lime, Red

I used JB Weld Plastic Bonder as the adhesive in the video. Weights and rubber feet can be used, but they are optional:

There are 2 versions of the box, Standard and Jumbo. They both use the same door, but jamb and box pieces are different and the files are clearly labeled - be sure to select the correct jamb and box files!

A few tips for the assembly:

  • If multiples of a file are required, the file name ends with “-X#” with the number indicating how many should be printed
    • For Example: "Bolt-X12" means to print 12 Bolts
  • The following files have pieces which bend, so I recommend printing with PETG:
    • Lock-Spacer1
    • Lock-Lever1
    • Lock-Lever2
    • Lock-Lever3
