Description

Model is inspired by Nakozen's F16 fighting falcon and Viper 2 concept by Encho Enchev's.

It's a mix of F16, F22 and F35 figher jets, which gives it futuristic look.

My original model dimensions are quite big, so I recommend scaling it down to 15-30%.

Print in place, no supports needed. It's a perfect snap fit the first time I printed, but results may vary!
To tweak the tightness, simply increase or decrease the Z height in your slicer or use glue if already printed.

I uploaded two versions of each part.

Part 1

  • F16-Part1-STL is the body with pattern “engraving”
  • F16-Part1v2-STL is the body without the pattern

Part 2

  • F16-Part2-STL is without hanging loop
  • F16-Part2v2-STL is with hanging loop

Printing settings

  • No rafts
  • No supports
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: Up to you. I printed with default 15%

Material usage

When scaled down to 20%, using PLA with 15% infill it uses roughly 6,4 meters of filament (~20 g).
When scaled down to 20%, using PLA with 50% infill it uses roughly 8.4 meters of filament (~26 g).

When scaled down to 20%, using PLA with 100% infill it uses roughly 11 meters of filament (~35 g).

Printing time
Approximately 40 minutes when scaled down to 20% using 15% infill.

Approximately 53 minutes when scaled down to 20% using 100% infill.
