Description

The Hubble space telescope, the largest single big metal tube currently in Earth orbit, has been gazing into the cosmos since 1990, taking some of the most influential photographs of our time. The first in a new series of model kit cards I am working on, a fair bit more detailed than past projects.
This has the original solar panels, and can add the replacement gold panels at request, I just like these better!

Coming up next: Euclid deep-space observer! (or that other funny lookin' Dorito one)

There are no instructions of this model, but each part is numbered in order of assembly, and there are clues on the parts themselves. So go slow, don't pop every part out at once, and have fun!

===================

Included is a Frameless variant for those uninterested in the sprue card format (refer to photos for assembly help). There is also a small test piece for those unsure about the flex joints, of which I have no problem printing both on Enders and a P1P.

If the fit is too tight, I suggest setting outer walls to print first in your slicer.
You can make it EVEN TIGHTER by increasing the Z-scale by 15%.

Print at 0.2mm layer height, there really is no benefit from printing at a higher resolution and it could affect the fit.

Makes greatly appreciated, always glad to see them! Happy Printing!
