  • Razor blade x 1:

Description

Introducing a compact and practical Wire Cutter/stripper, designed for quick and easy cutting of wires. This tool brings functionality and efficiency to any workspace with its thoughtful design. The cutter is made so it fits almost any size of regular wires, and has a stopper so you can do precise wire stripping.

I have split the model into two plates, as i wanted different colors, but can be printed all in one plate.

Key Features:

  • Replaceable Cutting Blade: Integrated with a slot to insert standard utility blades, allowing for easy replacement and prolonged use.
  • Built-in Safety Clip: A secure clip that locks the blade in place when not in use to prevent accidents.
  • Stopper: A stopper add-on for precise cutting and stripping
  • Multi-functional: Ideal for cutting wires, trimming filaments, and handling various small precision cuts.

Design Details:

This wire cutter is designed to be 3D-printed in sturdy filament such as PETG, but I have printed it in PLA and works well too! The design includes a base frame with an blade holder, a grip for better ergonomic handling and a stopper for precise cutting. Ensure to print with a high infill percentage for durability and use a brim to prevent warping.

Recommended Settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.12mm for fine detail.
  • Supports: None required for most printers.

Enhance your toolbox with this versatile 3D-printed wire cutter. Easy to print, assemble, and use, it’s perfect for anyone looking for a reliable tool at their workstation. Upload this design to Makerworld and let others experience the convenience firsthand!
