🧩 Ikea Alex Desk Setup – Miniature Desk for Dummy 13 (To-Scale Replica)

This is a to-scale miniature replica of one of the most iconic and widely used desk setups: the Ikea Alex drawer desk paired with furniture legs and a butcher-block desktop.

The design is inspired by real-world desk builds that use either the Ikea Karlby countertop or a Home Depot butcher block. The version modeled here is based on the Home Depot butcher block, which is the setup I personally use.

Inspired by the Dummy 13 platform and the incredible community creations around it, this model gives Dummy 13 a realistic, functional, and recognizable workspace.

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

1. Glue the bottoms of the furniture legs into the pre-cut slots on top of each Alex drawer unit
2. Once cured, slide the tops of the legs into the pre-cut holes on the underside of the desktop
3. The fit is intentionally snug to provide stability without glue
   • Optional: glue may be added for permanent assembly if desired

• Tight tolerances are intentional for strength and realism
• All major components are separate parts for easier printing and finishing

This desk gives Dummy 13 a proper place to organize his gear and brings a familiar, real-world aesthetic to your display.
