Movable vice
Print Profile(0)
Description
I used this project as a design exercise.
The vise is both rotatable and tiltable.
Assembly is actually quite simple and self-explanatory, however, I have attached some cross-sections.
The uploaded print profile is already relatively stable, but depending on the application, it can be made even more stable.
I used PETG-HF which already provides very good stability, but for very high loads, I recommend PA-6CF or similar materials.
I tried to use as few screws as possible, but it wasn’t entirely possible.
All screws that are only screwed in once have been designed without melt-through threads and can be screwed in directly. However, I have provided the screw connection for the rubber jaws with melt-through threads, as these may need to be screwed in and out more often.
For the rubber jaws, I have attached two versions, one with knurling and one without.
Therefore, the following parts are additionally required:
- 4x M3 melt-through threads (I used these)
- 4x M3x12 DIN 912 screws for the rubber jaws
- 3x M3x16 DIN 912 screws for the remaining fastening
I have uploaded all files as STEP so that everyone can easily make changes.
If anyone wants to make bigger changes, feel free to contact me and I can send them the entire project as a Fusion 360 file.
I welcome any constructive criticism and will gladly implement it.

If you liked the project, I would of course be happy about a free boost THANKS!!
