Description

Remixed another clamp model to include the thread required for the Modular mini DSLR/Mirrorless tripod system that I have designed. Check it out for the necessary other modular pieces.

I wouldn't recommend going too high with it due to the nature of PLA/PETG, it will not be 100% rigid, so the higher you go, the more give it will have. I have safely tested it with a PLA print with 3.5 modules high with a Canon M6 and 16mm bulky Sigma lens. Holds fine, but the best use is in case you may need a shorter tripod desk clamp as the ones commercially available are all too tall for my needs.

Printing

The printing requires painted-on supports in Prusa Slicer or similar. I've used the minimal snug settings.

After a few thoughts, it might be easier to post process if it is printed sideways with support on the side of the upper thread. The thread is long enough so deformities shouldn't be much of an issue along it.
