Greetings fellow adventurers,

After a long journey we finally arrive at the “Full Dice Set Kitcard”. This kitcard combines all dice (D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20) into one kitcard, modeled to fit inside the average giftcard (kitcard is 10,6cmx16cm)

All dice have a layout of which the opposite sides sum to the number of sides +1.

For anyone seeking a 7 dice set that includes a percentile D10, please check out the link below:

Both print profiles (duo color & single color) feature the following variations in the buildplates:

  • high frame - low frame - no frame:
    • high frame: modelled to be studier & allow you to split the kitcard into a seperate pieces for each die

    • low frame: modelled to save filament & time
    • no frame
  • easy detach - normal detach:
    • easy detach: allows the pieces to detach very easily & clean, but makes it likelier for pieces to detach by accident (make sure to let the buildplate cool off before removing the prints)
    • normal detach: makes the attachment of the pieces to the frame a lot stronger, but the pieces require more force to detach (a cutter is recommended)

TLDR:

  • if it's a gift & you want to make sure the kitcard stays in one piece, I'd recommend printing buildplate 2 “kitcard with high frame - normal detach”
  • if it's for yourself & you want a clean set of dice, I'd recommend printing buildplate 3 “kitcard with low frame - easy detach”

Warnings:

  • When printing the duo color, make sure your printbed is clean and you have good print bed adhesion. This is necessary for all the small numbers that will be spread out across the plate.

Materials:

All these were designed and tested with PLA & PETG (see examples below).

Something to be aware of: PETG does not leave any fold lines as you get with PLA, but did not give me consistent results in how good it assembled.

Updates:

2024-11-24: The previous STL files contained some inverted faces that caused issues for certain slicers, although Bambu Studio handled them without problems. These files have been replaced with a corrected version as of 2024-11-24, to accommodate users with 3D printers not supported by Bambu Studio. The existing print profiles remain unchanged.
